MV Zambezi Adventurer
The Zambezi Adventurer is a stunning new 28 cabin vessel, with 2 pools, 2 reception areas and numerous outdoor decks. Due to launch late 2020, and her maiden voyage with clients at the start of 2021. This vessel which will traverse the entire 270km length of Lake Kariba over a two or three night cruise, alternating weekly between Kariba and Binga.
The vessel will be equipped to carry vehicles on board (when booked prior to departure) otherwise her ‘vehicle area’ will be setup as an area for relaxation.
Number of Cabins
- 1st (Lower) Deck: 10 STANDARD twin-bedded cabins with an additional 2 Pullman Bunks (fold out of the wall) enabling each cabin to sleep up to 4 pax. Both the STANDARD and PREMIERE cabins measure 13.6 square meters (146.5 square feet).
- 2nd (Mid) Deck: 14 PREMIERE Cabins these can be either Double bedded or Twins.
- 3rd (Upper) Deck: 4 MASTER cabins with private balconies, these can be either twins or king doubles and measure 22.3 square meters (240 square feet).
All fully guided tender boat-based activities, game viewing, fishing, sundowners cruises, fishing village tours, all wildlife and Lake Kariba history talks and documentaries. All meals, all filtered water, teas-coffees, all tourism taxes and levies.
Soft drinks and liquor (unless included in your package), National Parks & Lake usage fees, laundry, land-based activities, travel insurance, gratuities.
Anticipated sailing dates from April 2021.
All cabins are en-suite and air-conditioned with two large air-conditioned bar-dining/ lounge areas. Two plunge pools and various outdoor sundecks and game viewing areas and every cabin has a stunning full glass views directly out to the lake . The vessel is equipped to travel with vehicles on board (when booked prior to departure) otherwise her ‘vehicle area’ will be setup as an area for relaxation. The vehicle deck measures 9m wide and 22m long and is capable of parking up to 8 land cruisers and 3 small coaches or 10-ton game/overland vehicles, or up to 14 land cruiser sized vehicles. Vehicles will be loaded 2 hours before any passengers boarding time.
3-night cruise: Minimum 3 tender boat based activities, 1 talk and 1 documentary film.
